Project Manager (Part-time) BACK
Twelveacres Inc. is seeking a skilled project manager to assist the Executive Management Team of the organization in analyzing business issues and completing strategic objectives. This position will provide project support to throughout the organization – program, business office, maintenance, communications, and administration functional areas. Your business acumen and experience, combined with your desire to help the Christian Science community, will truly make a difference for the organization, the success of our mission, and the lives of the Christian Scientists we serve. Scope of Responsibilities: Part-time position – Reporting directly to the Executive Director, the Project Manager will assist the Executive Management Team by taking on the leadership role responsible for managing the successful completion of assigned special projects. Ideal for someone who wants to be involved in key business decisions and work on a variety of projects. Good opportunity for someone who enjoys working on new assignments starting from scratch and developing creative solutions.
Qualifications: Christian Scientist preferred. College Business or Communications degree preferred. Experienced project manager. Experience using Gantt chart type project management software a plus. Must be good at scheduling. Must be very organized, self-starter, ability to work independently, set priorities and to take action. Must be able to research, analyze gathered information and to develop “action” recommendations. Must have good communication skills and is a strong team leader. Experience with non-profit organizations a plus.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for managing special projects assigned by the Executive Management Team:
- Research the issues / tasks and potential solutions
- Clarify desired goals / results with Executive Management Team
- Determine project steps and timing to accomplish goals
- Manage project progress/milestones
- Communicate project progress updates to Executive Management Team
- Work with respect and a “team” attitude with all project stakeholders
- Complete the project in a timely manner
