As part of our financial team, responsibilities of this role include preparing and analyzing monthly financial statements, participating in the annual budget and financial audits, overseeing and reconciling accounts, reviewing bi-weekly payroll, and preparing a variety of detailed schedules and analyses. Experience with non-profit fund accounting, investments or endowments, payroll, 401K retirement plans, or automating systems (A/P, credit card transactions) is a plus.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven accounting skills and knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles
  • Solid computer skills in Excel, QuickBooks Cloud or similar accounting software, Microsoft Outlook, MS Office, as well as general acumen with computers and other software programs
  • Knowledge of non-profit fund accounting preferred
  • Experience with accounting for investments a plus

Seeking a fully trained Christian Science nurse with successful completion through Level 4 preferred.  Candidate will be interested to provide a full range of care services to Christian Scientists with special needs.  Services can include personal care, special food preparation, daily activity and engagement, mobility and lifting assistance, cleansing and bandaging.

We are seeking a highly motivated, skilled, collaborative and detail-oriented individual to manage the operational needs of our organization. Our ideal candidate will have the experience, abilities, and skills to oversee the day-to-day operational and organizational needs of our organization. The Operations Director is responsible for maintaining and increasing the efficiency of the organization.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 8 years’ experience as a senior leader or manager in a nonprofit organization of similar size or larger.
  • A minimum of 7 years’ experience managing management level direct reports.
  • Experience managing contract negotiations and annual vendor reviews.
  • Experience managing diverse and complex daily operations for a non-profit.
  • A bachelor’s degree in business, facility management or related field.
  • Based on the nature of our organization and work, candidates must be a member of the Christian faith. We are a faith-based, non-profit organization.
  • Must have excellent telephone and interpersonal skills.
  • Must have good business writing skills.
  • Must have accounting analysis skills.
  • Must be attentive to detail and have an ability to analyze complex issues.
  • Must have solid computer skills – QuickBooks (or comparable accounting program), MS Excel, Word.
